CHROMATICS
CYMPAD Chromatic cymbal washers come in a wide selection of color options that allow drummers to contrast, compliment and customize the look of their drum and cymbal sets. And, because they are made from CYMPAD’s exclusive high-density, cellular “Memory” foam, Chromatics also provide significant sound and performance enhancements when compared to old-fashioned felt washers. Uniform in size and shape, Chromatics are durable, colorful and recommended for the tops and bottoms of cymbals in all drumming styles and situations.
MODERATORS
CYMPAD Moderator cymbal pads provide the consistency and dependability of CYMPAD’s advanced cellular foam material while reducing cymbal volume and unwanted overtones, controlling sustain and increasing articulation. Available in a choice of 6 sizes, Moderators offer a full range of options for incremental tone control of cymbals in rehearsal, recording and performance and are highly recommended for practice rooms and teaching studios, as well.
OPTIMIZERS
CYMPAD Optimizer cymbal washers are made from a premium-quality cellular foam material and are a major improvement over conventional felt washers. Consistent in size and density, Optimizers provide superior cymbal suspension plus isolation from stands and mounting hardware — offering modern drummers a better sound and a natural, more comfortable feel in every drumming situation. 40mm in diameter with 8, 12 and 15mm heights for individual cymbals and stacks, Optimizer models also include a 3-piece set for hi-hats and an 18mm version for ride and larger crashes.
SHARK
The gated drum damper enhances the attack while keeping the tone of the drum. The Shark’s exclusive hinged design allows the device to float on the playing surface— subtly reducing the volume and resonance by reacting to the intensity of the stroke. Rugged, re-useable, plastic carrying case, included.
UNDERTONES
Cympad Undertones — a trio of cellular foam devices designed to improve the sound of bass drums and floor toms while offering an extra layer of protection from unwanted drum and pedal movement. The innovative system features specially-designed discs for floor tom legs and bass drum spurs as well as a pad for acoustic and electronic bass drum and hi-hat pedals. The pads de-couple and isolate the drums from the floor— adding significant sustain and low end to their sound. The combination of spur and pedal pads is especially effective in enhancing the sound of bass drums and rack toms on bass drums equipped with mounted tom holders. In addition, the underside of Undertones features a proprietary non-skid material that helps anchor the drums and hardware on a variety of surfaces and reduces the need for drum rugs.
